One of my biggest challenges as a Photographer when I was first starting out, was making a living as a digital Photographer. Actually when I first starting shooting, digital cameras were so new, that my customers didn't even want digital photos because they didn't know the great advantages that digital photography had.
Now that I have been shooting for over 10 years, I look back and realize how much I struggled and wished there was an easier way to make a living as a rookie in the industry. Back when I started shooting, I had to hunt down companies by driving to their place of business and show them my portfolio. At that time I had already spent hundreds of dollars on developing and printing, so you can imagine how broke I must have been just trying to build my reputation.
Those are the days of the past, and being able to sell photos online is a Photographer's dream-come-true. The most amazing thing about it, is that you don't have to be a professional photographer or even own a studio. I've been able to make money with a consumer camera shooting photos for local classified ads, and personals.
