GPS devices have become as ubiquitous as mobile telephones. GPS technology is found not only on dedicated devices but also as modules on cellular phones, watches etc. You find GPS's in cars, motorbikes, boats, planes, and even lingerie!

For that reason, may countries and regions such as the European Union and Russia have build alternative positioning systems.
It is vital in order to protect individual privacy, while protecting society from the ills of terrorism, that countries around the word put in place laws on GPS tracking, logging and use of positioning records.
