I tend to shoot time-lapse with my Rebel and if I use the flash I use a lot so this perfect. The batteries that come with it are NOT as powerful as the Canon ones. So Its probably a good idea to have 2x Canon Batteries mix them with 2x Generic. I was able to get about 6-7 hours of shooting taking a photo ever 30s or every 1min no flash no preview screen etc.. Also a huge plus to this for anyone that shoots a lot is the side buttons.

Whereas the Flip Mino is indeed the easiest-to-use video camera I've ever come across, and it's sleek and practical to carry, the question of downloading and editing videos is not as easy as it seemed. It has an integrated usb that connects directly to one's computer, but creating the mixes you'd like to save is a time-consuming process. Having only 2 usb entrances on my laptop, one of which is needed to connect to the internet, printing a document while a video mix is being created is not an option.

Customer Review: a life saver when you need to download a ton of vid/pics
If you have a big SD card and typically download a ton of pictures and video (I'd say over 250 video/pics) then this little item is pretty useful. The lowdown: you simply remove your battery in the camera (I have an SD950IS) and slip the adapter battery in its place, and close the battery cover. pull out the rubber stopper on the camera's battery cover (yeah, this is what that thing is for!) and plug in the adapter cord. It's pretty much that easy. So besides using this for downloading a lot of content, I have also plugged it in when replaying images and videos from the camera to a TV. I have noticed that when I have a large download from the camera, that using this adapter as the power source instead of the battery power (which is what I always did) made the download noticeably faster! Just keep in mind that the adapter is exactly what it looks like in the picture, it can be a little cumbersome if you are trying to travel light. It has that typical converter block that you see and the wires are long, so they could take up some space, again, if you are looking to take it with you everywhere you go. I just keep it by the computer where I download everything. Great little product.

After many comparing and contrasting with the other lenses, I found that this actually works really good for me. I'm not a professional but I do like taking good photos. Recently i've been taking action shots in football games and basketball games. My recently purchased G10 wasn't really helping me out since it wasn't up to its full capacity. So i decided to get some lens for it. I must say, the Opteka .45x HD2 Wide Angle Lens really helped me out! A lot! The ghosting went away and also the lens flare. My pictures came out much better than last time. As for the delivery, it delivered right on schedule! Now I just need to buy a flash system for my camera, and maybe it'll deliver me even better pictures than without. The lenses are also very cheap. Don't hesitate. It's worth your money. I guarantee it.

I was skeptical at first about paying so much for something I would use probably so little. You have to keep in mind, how much was your camera? Are you willing to gamble an inferior product to the safety of your camera investment just to save a few bucks? My camera is worth what I paid for and this will protect it from the water, sand (most people don't think the blowing sand getting in nooks and crannies,not to mention salt water mist!), or just any outdoor environment. I have also read some reviews that you can NOT change modes once the case is on. ****** IF YOU READ YOUR MANUAL YOU WOULD KNOW THIS IS POSSIBLE!!!***** Just hold the print button, while pressing the left or right on the 'scroll wheel' buttons. Things I like about this lens: * wide range (18-200mm) gives you a lot of flexibility * OS (the Optical Stabilizer) * comes with a hood * sturdy lens * big, but not too big Things that I don't like so much about this lens: * does not auto-focus within close (about 1ft or so) range (but you might be able to try manual focusing in that case.) * it's not the perfect walk-around lens (due to focusing issue w/in short range) Overall, I'd give this product 3.5 stars. (Sorry that it's listed as 5, I couldn't change it.) I like the lens, but you'll need other lens in addition to this one...especially if you're into macro/portrait type photos.

I've had two of these batteries for about two years now and I have gotten about 20 months of solid use out of them. I'm looking to replace them now because they will not charge, but for the price of a decent coffee, these batteries have worked great in my Rebel XTi.

Being as I bought these online I wasn't able to tell if they would fit my Canon digital rebel XTI. They did fit and are working fine. I only gave it a 4 star rating because I haven't had them long enough to see how long they last(meaning months or years). I ordered two just to be safe and at the cost it's worth it.

Customer Review: Get the new, improved version.
The newer Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens is the latest version of this kit lens, and is a vast optical improvement over this lens. The build quality of the new version is also a little better than this old lens. The new version is now the standard kit lens included with the EOS XSi camera. Best of all, the new one sells for much less than 200 dollars, so I wonder why they still try to sell this piece of junk for such a high price? It doesn't even have IS (image stabilization). There must be people gullible enough to pay good money for below par products, when better can be found for less; if they would just take a few minutes to do a bit of research before purchasing. I have found several photo review sites that give good reviews to the new lens, but this old version is pretty much trashed in the reviews. The old lenses will have II in the name, but not IS; the new lenses will have IS in the name, but not II.

I bought this winter 2007. Needless to say I wanted to save money with this model vs buying the Nikon brand which was about 50 buxs more at the time. I wish I had bought the Nikon version. This one is now having issues with reading 2 batteries at same time and will render the camera inoperative. I have to use only 1 battery at a time to get it to work. Not only that the vertical grip buttons and thumb roller does not work very well. Save ya $$ and get the Nikon version!

Customer Review: Good Buy for the Money
I bought this kit for my Canon Powershot sx10 is, basically for the camera case. I didn't want a case that was too big nor did I want one that would just barely hold my camera alone (as I had read of the Canon camera case). I also gravitated towards this Precision brand because I didn't really like the idea of carrying around a Canon camera case. To me, that's free advertising to a thief. The bag is exactly the size I wanted. I can fit my camera horizontally or vertically and I can store extra batteries and a charger easily. The tripod is an excellent addition for any ametuer who wants to improve their photo quality. It's definitely far from the types of tripods for professionals, but it's great for a "first-time user". The mini-tripod is most definitely mini. I had thought that it would be maybe six to eight inches - it's about three. I probably won't use it very often, except when I either need to take a shot close to the ground or I can set it on something like a table. The rest of the things in the kit feel kind of like someone just tossed some stuff in the box. The 2GB memory card is usable and a pleasant addition, as is the cleaning cloth and cleaning kit (which includes another cleaning cloth). There's also a short USB cord that is fine, but nothing exciting. Finally, included is a CD for image recovery and screen protectors that you put on your camera's LCD screen. These are two things I'll most likely never use, but I think the rest of the things in the kit (mostly the large tripod and camera case) make this a good purchase for nearly $27. My recommendation for this kit is determined by how many of the things included are of value to you. If you want a camera case that will fit more than just your camera, but isn't too large or you want a decent, cheap tripod, it's definitely worth it. If you don't care about either of these things the kit would probably be a waste of money.
Customer Review: photo bag deception
i purchased this accessory kit in hopes of receiving the camera bag as depicted in the photo shown as being what was in the kit. it turns out the "camera bag" was a belt pouch smaller than a pack of cigarettes. and the mini tri-pod is about 5" inches tall. i called the distributor of this offer (not amazon) about this and was sent another belt bag that is still useless. i would not recommend this kit. photo is totally deceptive.
